JUNIOR AND OCEANUS COMPRESSOR BLOCKS

  P-PURIFICATION SYSTEMS
(FILTER CARTRIDGE SYSTEMS)
 
This range is the undisputed classic among BAUER’s
purification systems. Its major benefits include rapid and
straightforward cartridge change, minimum downtime and
cost-effective operation.
BAUER P-Purification Systems reliably remove hazardous
substances and deliver pure breathing air for your use.
P-Purification System is supplied as standard with every
BAUER Sports and Safety compressor.
Depending on the filter type, P-Purification Systems adsorb
residual moisture, oil vapour, traces of hydrocarbon cases
and carbon monoxide from the compressed air. BAUER
P-Purification Systems not only meet, but actually exceed
all requirements of the DIN EN 12021:2014 Breathing Air
Standard1.

DRIVE SYSTEMS AND MOTORS
The low-maintenance V-belt drive enables the compressor block speed to be optimised regardless of the network
frequency and motor type.
The compressor can be set up in vertical or horizontal format depending on the model series. V-belt tension is ensured
by the weight of the motor in vertical format (MINI-VERTICUS, VERTICUS), and by use a belt tensioning device (PROFI LINE)
or belt tensioners (KAP Series, KAP 220/23) in horizontal format.


MOTORS

Our mobile units (COMPACT and PROFI LINE) are also
available with three-phase motor, single-phase AC motor
or petrol engine for operation at any locations.
If your application requires a system with a diesel engine
(using fuel with a higher flashpoint), consider our
PROFI LINE Diesel units and KAP-DAH Series.










For ‘automatic’ operation, a compressor requires a control unit and an automatic condensate drain system.
These features are available as optional extras1 for mobile PREMIUM LINE systems and supplied as standard
with stationary systems.

B-DRAIN AUTOMATIC CONDENSATE DRAIN
The technical principle: Condensate (an emulsion of air moisture,
lubricant and dirt particles in the ambient air) is produced during
the process of compression. Therefore, during operation and after
the compressor unit reaches the end of its operating cycle, water is
removed from all separators installed in the compressor. This ensures
that no traces of aggressive oil and water mixture (condensate) are
left behind in the compressor.

The newly developed and patented B-DRAIN automatic condensate
drain uses individually controlled solenoid valves to ensure reliable,
automatic condensate removal from the compressor separators and
thus permits long filter cartridge service life periods.

The innovative design enables condensate to be drained in a gentle,
controlled manner while minimising the pressure drop. This saves
energy and helps to increase the efficiency of the compressor unit. At
the same time, the new B-DRAIN is much quieter than conventional
solutions.
The condensate produced is collected in a condensate tank for disposal
in an environmentally-friendly way.

COMPRESSOR CONTROL UNITS
Safe, secure monitoring of system functions and a control unit aligned to the system are essential for cost effective,
safe operation of a compressor system.
Our mobile compressors feature straightforward, self-explanatory operation using a simple compressor control
unit for optional integration.
This electronic control unit and additional monitoring system shuts down the compressor when the system reaches
final pressure, measures operating hours and oil pressure and displays the current operating status. It also
enables the compressor to operate fully automatically – the compressor is switched on when pressure falls below
a defined minimum level – in conjunction with a storage system.
The patented mini-computer B-TIMER can also be used with mobile systems without a control unit. B-TIMER shows
operating hours and the filter cartridge saturation level, has a flashing light to warn of approaching cartridge changes
and displays the order number of the required filter cartridge, ensuring that filter cartridge life is maximised


B-CONTROL controls and monitors all functions of your BAUER stationary compressor system. Electronic control
units in the B-CONTROL Series enable all relevant requirements for stationary compressors to be comprehensively
met.

B-CONTROL MICRO
B-CONTROL MICRO is a modern, easy-to-use compressor control unit with colour display that provides intelligent control
and safe monitoring of all basic functions. The unit is integrated into virtually all stationary systems as standard and
enables compressor systems to be operated fully automatically1.
An extensive language selection is now available2. As a further benefit, Interfacing with external input/output signal encoders
is possible at any time, as is interconnected operation or the connection of an external display unit.

B-CONTROL II

compressor blocks with improved components and ultra-modern design! During the redesign, the focus was on ergonomics,
making operation as easy as possible, reducing noise and boosting efficiency.

All control elements that are important for everyday operation are ergonomically arranged and easily accessible from the
front. A new condensate vessel integrated into the housing allows for 40 % more capacity. The compressor control monitors
the fill level and informs the operator in good time if the condensate needs to be emptied.

The advanced B-CONTROL MICRO is more powerful and ready to communicate with the B-APP for remotely controlling and
monitoring the compressor, for example.

The MINI-VERTICUS and VERTICUS breathing air compressors are available in versions for 225 and/or 330/350 bar as well

OCEANUS
The OCEANUS delivers excellent performance: although virtually identical in size to the JUNIOR II, it can fill a breathing air
cylinder up to 40% faster.
Designed for challenging professional applications, the OCEANUS impresses with its durability, mobility and high output.
With a corrosion-resistant stainless steel base frame, the OCEANUS is the ideal mobile compressor even for coastal areas
where the air has a high salt content, and in particular at sea, on submersibles or during expeditions.
A generous oil reserve in the crankcase and the powerful oil pump mean that operation is also possible even at extreme
inclinations of up to 30° (up to 20° for petrol-driven models).

KAP-HN SERIES
A low centre of gravity and advanced design with special shock absorbers and robust shock and damping
elements, proven in rigorous shock and vibration testing, make the KAP-HN series by BAUER KOMPRESSOREN

KAP DIESEL SERIES
With a low centre of gravity and robust, low-maintenance diesel drive, KAP-DAH Series horizontal compressors
are able to meet the most exacting requirements for reliable and autonomous continuous operation in remote
locations.
All coolers, filters, valves and cables are made from rust-free materials – designed for the harshest outdoor
climates and absolutely reliable at high outdoor temperatures.
The uncompromisingly intelligent design of the unit naturally provides ease of access for maintenance work.
The electronic control system with additional electronic monitoring function automatically shuts down the compressor
when the final system pressure is reached, measures operating hours and oil pressure, and
displays the current operating status. The battery charge status can also be read off from the control unit.

P-PURIFICATION SYSTEM

In use all over the world for the treatment of breathing
air, industrial air, nitrogen, helium, argon and methane.
Depending on the filter cartridge type, residual humidity
and oil vapours are reliably removed from the
compressed air or gas. Toxic carbon monoxide (CO)
can optionally be converted into carbon dioxide (CO2).
As the content of CO2 is low, the CO2 concentration
increases only slightly.







SECCANT

The regeneration dryers in the SECCANT series by
BAUER KOMPRESSOREN for the pressure range from
90 to 350/420 bar are designed to dry air and gases
in applications involving high operating hours, free air
delivery rates and ambient temperatures.











B-KOOL

B-KOOL Refrigeration Dryer cools the compressed air and
separates out most of the moisture,
collecting it in the B-KOOL and thus preventing it from passing
into the filter cartridge.
Particularly in environments with high ambient temperatures,
the B-KOOL refrigeration dryer extends filter
capacity to an outstanding extent.









 

AERO-GUARD

AERO-GUARD CO2 Adsorber – reduces CO2 in intake air.
The intake air of the compressor is routed through the AEROGUARD
via an ingenious bypass system.
This enables the CO2 content to be reduced to one-third of that
of the intake air, with AERO-GUARD-OX version for NITROX
membrane units the initial value can even be reduced up to 20%.
The air is humidified in the base of the tank, optimising filter
efficiency and significantly extending filter life.







 

B-VIRUS FREE

Removes viruses, bacteria, moulds and pollen
from breathing air
Free of chemicals and ozone, the patent-pending
B-VIRUS FREE system uses a special UVC light
source to destroy the described pathogens in the
air flow of the intake air before they can get into
the compressor.

system
for rapid on-the-spot measurement of O2, CO, CO2
and optional measurement of absolute moisture and residual
oil (VOC)1 in breathing air cylinders or at high-pressure ports.
› B-DETECTION PLUS i and s – fixed online gas measurement
systems for continuously measuring O2, CO and CO2 with
optional functions for absolute humidity and total oil value
(VOC)1. Measuring values can be logged at any time and are
saved in Excel format on an SD card for easy access and use.
